1. Tap
Pull out 1 to 2 feet of Edge-it through package access hole. Peel only 6-inches of backing paper off (helps prevent adhesive side sticking to itself). With one finger, tap lightly the center of the Edge-it strip to the top of the brim. Leave the sides of the strip floating.
Note: Stretch slightly around convex curves. Do not stretch around concave curves.
2. Pinch
With your thumb and index finger, press down the floating sides against the edge, one “pinch” at a time, preventing wrinkles. Avoid sliding your fingers up and down the edge. Repeat “tap” and “pinch” steps for the next 6-inch section and so on.
Overlap final seem by ¾ to 1 inch.
